My students are active listeners and musicians, paying attention to each part of the music that they hear. In class, we recreate melodies, harmonies, and bass lines, and these bass bars will give every student an opportunity to play. The bass line is often right on the beat, so even the youngest students can jump right in. Not every student wants to solo, but any student can latch on to a bass line and be part of the ensemble. C and G are good starting points for most of the songs we play in class. Any help that you can donate would be very greatly appreciated!
