In my Kindergarten classroom I try to incorporate many hands-on activities that compliment the curriculum I am teaching. If I am able to have floor puzzles in my classroom I know that my students will begin to gain a sense of ownership and achievement. One way I can better meet the needs of my students is by offering a variety of puzzles to help extend our learning and further our development. Children need many opportunities to practice basic skills such as concentration, patience, fine-motor skills, and goal setting. I will be able to help my students achieve these skills by giving them the opportunity to manipulate puzzles.
