My students have a library books currently available in our classroom and through an online platform that we use. Unfortunately, the classroom furniture is less than optimal for them to be engaged and focused on what they are reading. A reading corner with alternative seating would allow students to sit when and how they choose. Students will be able to pick a reading spot during our classroom rotations. Their learning disabilities have led to challenges that other students haven't had to face. I'm trying to provide a room that is welcoming and loving. This reading corner would really push students to the next level.
