Our classroom headphones have been well-loved to the point of frustration. I have 6 working pairs for 23 students. Many of our students are not able to bring their own personal headphones to school, so providing a class set to my students is crucial. We use headphones daily for math and reading centers and to help prepare the students for state testing. Using headphones during assignments and tests not only help students hear what is on their Chromebook, but it also helps block out any sound or distractions within the classroom. This enables them to better focus and complete their work on time.
