The best way for my students to make good use of these materials is integrating our subject units/ skills by selecting the best materials for them to create. Learning by doing is one of the best strategies used by teachers in the classroom, and it is proved that students apply and acquire knowledge permanently. They will never forget what they acquire by using this strategy. By using Legos, students can create and go beyond with the different shapes and figures coming from their imagination. Giant post its, pencils, markers and manipulatives are good for oral presentations, collaborative work and classroom activities. I hope my students can be part of a new equipped classroom by receiving all these materials.
