Imagine your music teacher going to play the first phrase of the song your singing for a program only to find out that the piano won't turn on that day. She then has to improvise by playing it instead on her recorder. This is the scene in our music classroom every day! So we improvise and my students work to do their best as singing without the advantage of hearing the piano and the teacher singing. Help me give students a better example than one played on a recorder! We don't need a fancy piano just one that works. Thank you for helping bring music to our kids!!
