I am providing adaptive materials to help my students access their curriculum. My students have deficits in using their fine motor skills. What that means is sometimes they struggle with opening containers or holding their pencil. This can impact their ability to keep up with their age-level peers. I work to address this need. These materials will help my students bridge the gap from where they are to where they need to be. The Play-Doh will help develop the small muscles in their hands. The raised paper and the slant board will be used for students with visual perception deficits. The scooter boards will be used to develop the vestibular system. Put together, these materials combine to get the students that extra help they need to succeed, and your investment in this program helps make their future a reality.
