Do you remember the excitement each day when you were given the opportunity to pull out a book, get comfortable, and read? Art students are given this opportunity to read books about great artists or stories that are inspired by art when they have completed their work. However, our classroom library needs your support! We need a variety of reading levels, considering that nearly every Skyland student visits the art room during the week. Having a variety of reading levels available to students encourages them to enjoy this time to improve their reading skills. The texts requested within this project were handpicked to meet the needs of the students within our classroom, their levels, and their interests. With your support, our students will have a variety of books to choose from on a daily basis to meet their needs as they grow as readers.
