The Peace Room will be utilized by students to help them relax and feel safe. The room will be used to give the students a chance to calm down when angry or upset and a way to regulate their nervous system as well as lean skills to calm down on their own. The school counselor will provide resources and sensory strategies to help students regulate and or clam their central nervous system. The counselor will also help students to understand their triggers thus allowing techniques learned in The Peace Room in class enabling them to stay in class and learn.
