Your kindness has made a tremendous impact on our students and our program.\r\n\r\nThe students are using the purple tops under their cheer uniforms as an additional color to help highlight and represent our school colors. This simple addition has helped our team look more unified and professional, especially when cheering at away games. More importantly, it has given our students a greater sense of confidence and pride.\r\n\r\nWhen the students received their new cheer shoes, their excitement was overwhelming. Some were so happy they were nearly in tears. Although they are teenagers, their emotions showed just how meaningful this gift was to them. Matching shirts and socks may seem like small items, but to these students, they make a significant difference. They help them feel supported, valued, included, and connected as a team.\r\n\r\nSeeing the students transform when they put on their new cheer apparel has been truly inspiring. Their faces light up, their confidence grows, and they carry themselves with greater pride. As their coach, it brings me so much joy to witness the positive impact your generosity has had on them.\r\n\r\nThis year, I have three senior cheerleaders who are graduating. They were especially grateful for the donated items. One student shared, \"Thank you, Ms. D. I didn't know how I was going to participate in cheerleading and help my parents pay my graduation fees.\" Your donation relieved some of the financial burden many of our families face and allowed these students to fully participate in an activity they love.\r\n\r\nAll of our students are proud to wear their new cheer gear. The socks, shirts, shoes, and bows have become valuable assets to our team. Not only do they help our students look coordinated on the cheer floor, but they also help them feel confident and prepared to represent our school.\r\n\r\nYour act of kindness demonstrates the power of community support and the difference it can make in the lives of young people. We are sincerely grateful for your generosity and for believing in our students. Your donation has impacted them in ways that extend far beyond cheerleading, and we hope it will encourage even more students to join our cheer team in the coming years.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support and for helping make this experience possible for our students.\r\n\r\nWith sincere appreciation,\r\n\r\nMs. Douglas\r\nCheer Coach\r\nMilwaukee Public Schools","fullyFundedDate":1766779007570,"projectUrl":"project/you-cheer-we-cheer-building-confidence/9922584/","projectTitle":"You Cheer, We Cheer: Building Confidence Through Cheer","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. D.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5200565_orig.jpg?crop=220,220,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764005037233","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/douglae"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_62407","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":417,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":88,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":53.9,"schoolId":62407,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wisconsin Conservatory - Learning on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wisconsin Conservatory - Learning","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/milwaukee-public-schools/wisconsin-conservatory-lrng/62407"}
