These resources have been absolutely transformative in helping me create engaging, relevant lessons that truly connect with my students across all my classes. The materials I've been able to purchase have served as that crucial bridge between my students' personal experiences and the academic skills we're working to develop.\r\n\r\nMy AP English students have particularly benefited from the creative novel study guides and interactive activities I've downloaded. Instead of traditional worksheets, we've been able to dive into character analysis through escape rooms and explore themes through digital breakouts that get them thinking critically while having fun. My English 10 classes have responded wonderfully to the multimedia short story units that incorporate modern connections to classic literature, helping them see relevance in texts they might otherwise dismiss. Even my Computer Science students have benefited from the coding challenge activities and project-based learning resources that make abstract programming concepts more concrete and exciting.\r\n\r\nThe gift cards have stretched much further than I anticipated, allowing me to build a robust library of resources that I'll continue using well into next year. Thank you for understanding that sometimes the most impactful learning happens when we can supplement our required curriculum with materials that truly speak to our students' interests and learning styles.","fullyFundedDate":1738779303273,"projectUrl":"project/tpt-engaging-and-inspiring-culturally/8983496/","projectTitle":"TPT = Engaging and Inspiring Culturally Relevant Resources!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stockheimer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3079029_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1450929906530","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-stockheimer"},{"teacherId":3079029,"projectId":8971809,"letterContent":"First, I must apologize for the delay in writing this thank you note. Between juggling my English 10, AP English and Computer Science classes, time has gotten away from me.\r\n\r\nThe supplies you generously provided have made such a difference in our daily learning environment! The hand sanitizer and tissues have been absolute lifesavers during this brutal Wisconsin winter — we've managed to keep the classroom much healthier. My AP English students immediately put the Rayleigh earbuds to use, it's wonderful to see them taking the initiative with their education and the earbuds have allowed them to work independently without disturbing others.\r\n\r\nThe variety of fresh, vibrant colors from the new dry erase markers have helped make instruction time be a little brighter during the murky Wisconsin winter! Thank you so much for supporting public education and helping create an environment where my students can truly thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1735710184308,"projectUrl":"project/wisconsin-winter-no-problem/8971809/","projectTitle":"Wisconsin Winter? The second semester of this school year had unexpected challenges that prevented me from writing sooner.\r\n\r\nMy students have thoroughly enjoyed the robotic kits purchased with your generous donations, learning about the interactions between software and hardware. This knowledge came in handy when we toured one of the local colleges in our city to see and experience their supercomputer and its attendant facility. Their hands-on learning allowed them to ask questions related to the supercomputer's functions and capabilities that helped them through the rest of the semester.\r\n\r\nAs always, thank you for your generous support of my students and our school!","fullyFundedDate":1734374055338,"projectUrl":"project/will-hero-the-robot-save-us-from-the-bio/8983231/","projectTitle":"Will Hero the Robot Save Us From the Bionic Arm?","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stockheimer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3079029_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1450929906530","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-stockheimer"},{"teacherId":3079029,"projectId":8388913,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting my project last school year. I sincerely apologize for the delay in sending this thank-you letter. The project was funded right after the school year ended, and I only received my package once the new school year began.\r\n\r\nIt has been a bit chaotic this year; we adopted a new district calendar, the AP Seminar class is brand new, and my students and I switched classrooms to a new floor!\r\n\r\nMy Computer Science students are currently busy learning about computer hardware. They are taking apart computers, reassembling them, and studying binary and web applications. We hope to use the cyborg robot hands very soon.\r\n\r\nWe utilize the presentation clicker constantly, and the hub is in use, which ensures we have access to all our technology. The labels have already been used extensively, just like the notebooks. \r\n\r\nNext semester, my English 10 students will use the report covers to present professional-looking persuasive essays. I hope that they can use these writing samples for future job opportunities.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generous support. We truly appreciate everything you do for us, and most importantly, thank you for supporting public education.","fullyFundedDate":1716216452082,"projectUrl":"project/the-t-in-stem-for-my-students/8388913/","projectTitle":"The T in STEM for My Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stockheimer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3079029_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1450929906530","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-stockheimer"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_62407","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":417,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":88,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":53.4,"schoolId":62407,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wisconsin Conservatory - Learning on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wisconsin Conservatory - Learning","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/milwaukee-public-schools/wisconsin-conservatory-lrng/62407"}
