When I demonstrate the musical instruments to 4th and 5th graders at the beginning of the year, their eyes light up! They love the shiny brass instruments, the small flutes and all the "buttons" on the clarinets and saxophones. They are so excited to get a chance to try an instrument out for themselves. However, not all students can afford to rent an instrument. Many families return their rented instruments to the music store once the 3-month promotional pricing expires. This project will help bring instruments to our school and include more of our in the magic of music making.
