All of my students want to learn and succeed, though for some, it is a little more changeling than it is for others. Our library is the heart of our school and provides a variety of collaborative spaces to support student learning. We are missing an inclusive space for students with sensory related special needs. The products that I have selected will help our students by creating a calming reading/work space for these special needs students. All of the items I've selected will be extremely beneficial for those students that just need to get the wiggles out while attempting to read or complete work. The comfy floor seats, the crash pad and pea pod chair will provide sensory specific seating options while the bubble tube and fiber optic curtain will create a calming atmosphere.
