Ukuleles are great teaching tools for music teachers. As a music teacher myself, I would be able to teach dynamics, tempo, reading chord charts, measure numbers, bar lines, fine motor skills, ear training (when tuning our instruments), working together as a team, and musical style. These instruments will help motivate my toughest classes to create something truly magical and something they will be proud of. Ukuleles are fairly easy to learn quickly so for students who have lots of self doubt, they will find success with something quickly. There are so many songs that are familiar to kids that can be played on the ukulele.
