By funding my project, you will be creating a space in my classroom where students will be able to maximize their learning experience. These contemporary tables provide a unique area for my students to read and have the "coffee shop" feel in order to recharge for the day. I plan on putting two of these tables along the back wall and two along the side wall. This project will also provide an area for my students to work while charging their devices. We are creating 21st century learners which requires students to use a variety of technology. Unfortunately, all too often my students come to class without charged Chromebooks. These lamps have both a USB and an outlet to provide students with a place to plug in their devices, so they will be prepared to learn. Changing the environment in my classroom from just individual desks, to a more modern feel with new tables, will give my students a place to retreat to and get lost in their books. Your generous donation will literally and figuratively recharge my students!
