The National Art Honor Society students have designed a mural of Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta, and participants of the Farm Workers Movement in order to honor this event in history, and celebrate their hard work which brought about positive change for thousands of lives. The students specifically chose this scene themselves as worthy of honoring on a large wall outside of our fine arts wing- where all 3,000 students who attend our school will be able to se it. This mural will not only enrich the learning of the students who get to carry the project through from A to Z, but will benefit the school community as a whole by beautifying the campus and fostering school pride.
