This science camp allows students to experience natural science first-hand with all five senses. The students will be exploring the distinct ecosystems of local coastal mountains. Our students hope to visit 200+ acres of redwood forest, mixed evergreen, and chaparral ecosystems in the Santa Cruz mountains. As they explore nature, they will be enriched academically and socially as they see science come alive in the form of hands-on activities. As the students leave elementary school and enter middle school, we hope that Outdoor Education will provide lasting memories throughout their lives. We hope this experience will inspire our students to be the leaders of a green future for the world.

About my class
