We use stop motion video technology and dramatic presentation to tell stories using LEGO figurines and blocks. Because we use the LEGOs for other things as well, parts become lost or damaged with so much use. These new materials will replace broken and missing materials, as well as greatly expand the scale of materials and usage. Using LEGOs to tell stories helps develop language skills, cooperation and planning skills, and even technical skills such as storyboarding, set design, and using digital video editing software. Students find these activities tremendously valuable, as do teachers. Storytelling, acting, and directing is fun and engaging, and students cherish having the opportunity to express themselves in a way they might not otherwise have an opportunity. Students bond over stories and shared experiences, and this immensely helps strengthen our community spirit. Thank you!
