Just imagine the challenge of not being able to acquire all the basic hygiene necessities? This is the challenge that most of the female students in my mentoring group are facing each day. Not able to raise their hands in class due to body odor or not confident enough to make friends are the most hurtful situations I witnessed. I wanted to rebuild their self-worth by meetings the most basic self-care kit. My students in the mentoring group especially those with special needs, need your support for their winter and spring hygiene kit. I'm requesting tissues, lotions, feminine pads, deodorant, and shampoo. These things can be so expensive and buying them can shift a family budget away from important necessities like food, healthcare and transportation. We need extraordinary supporters like you to make my advocacy and project successful.
