I have resources already available to help my children become better readers and writers. My goal is to learn different strategies that I could implement to meet the needs of each individual student. This will build my background of literacy instruction and add more tools to my toolbox as an educator. In addition to providing new strategies, this conference will help me dive deeper into the standards I am required to teach so that I have a better understanding of what the students need to know. Attending the Hello Early Literacy Conference will equip me with many different strategies and the knowledge necessary to develop better readers at an earlier age. We live in a time when it is essential for students to be equipped with strategies to become better readers and writers. If teachers are not equipped with these strategies, the students will never have opportunities to use them. It's time to equip teachers so they can help students become confident and better readers.
