So many kiddos come to school without gloves each day. Living in Minnesota, this is a huge issue. Many days, I have students who choose to come outside and say they will be okay. They end up leaving crying because their hands are so cold. I do not have enough support to keep kids inside and I would love for all of them to experience all that our winter has to offer. These gloves will be shared in our class to make sure that we all have warm fingers each day. Outside, we love to use the sleds that the third grade teachers have provided and sometimes, we even make snowmen. The jungle gym gets a little tricky because everything is so cold and slick, but we try our best anyways.
