As a first year teacher, I experience hardships obtaining the right materials for my classroom. Books that are considered on level are difficult to come by and usually come from my own salary. Having the right books would truly help us reach our goals. Reading opens the door of imagination and opportunity to obtain a variety of knowledge that peaks their interests. Currently, the books in our classroom library are old, worn, torn, and handed down. With new reading materials, it shows that as a community, we put children first and are willing to invest in their education. With gratitude, Ms. Torres
