Our county recognizes that teachers' mental health and wellness is just as important as the students' with the creation of a Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator. As I was thinking about how to support teachers, I thought about their other roles. Many are parents, caregivers for their own parents, and many work a second job. These gift cards from strangers who recognize the value of teachers will give them hope and encouragement. Teaching is hard. 66% want to leave the profession. My goal is to help teachers feel seen and valued.
