The 6th graders will be starting their projects about our Solar System. Each 6th grader will pick a planet, comet, moon, or some other space object and will create a Google Slide Show, a tri-fold poster board, and also a paper mache planet. This is a great opportunity for students, who have mainly been using the computer this year, to have some hands-on learning. They are so excited to start! Because of the financial hardships some families have had this year, I would like to give these supplies to students. Ideally the kids will not have to buy anything. They will just need to come to the school and pick up the supplies. Sometimes we can even drop them off at a student's home. This makes a tremendous difference to the students as they are all on level playing ground with they have the tools to succeed. Thank you for helping in whatever way you can!
