My students require lessons to be adjusted to meet their needs and help them access the content. Currently, they are working on reading CVC words and spelling them. However, some of them have poor fine motor skills. The set of stamps will allow them to focus on building the words and not letting their poor fine motor skills become an obstacle in their spelling.
My students are at different reading levels. Many of them are still struggling with sounding out and reading CVC words. The Touch and Read Phonics Word Match will help them visualize the process of saying each individual sound (through their sensory) and blending. If needed, I can adapt the sets to meet my student needs (e.g. putting velcro on the dots to make their touch sensory stronger).
The write and wipe pockets will allow the students with better fine motor skills get more practice. The students can practice and work on the same worksheet over and over again until they master the skills (e.g. writing the initial sound, adding, etc.) on the worksheets.
These materials will make my students' learning more fun and give them the resources to become better readers and spellers/writers.
