There's no hiding the major crisis we see in the world when it comes to mental health. My goal at out school is to be able to address emotional regulation while teaching students strategies to co-regulate and independently regulate, supporting mental health among all young students. The materials and tools purchased in this Donors Choose will support student self regulation and allow students to take emotional breaks when needed throughout their busy and rigorous academic schedule. Students will benefit from cozy seating, sensory tools and manipulative items in a space that allows students to simply relax and gather themselves when the going gets tough.
