I am requesting the Mindstorm EV3 Education Lego Kit so that my students can learn programming. They will enter their programmed robot into the district robotics competition. The robots they design have to be able to successfully navigate obstacles and complete errands in a robotics competition that is held by the local school system. With this MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Core Set. my students can compete against different robotic teams from other schools. Robotics education helps address the growing demand for teaching science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in school. Overall, my students find robotics fun. It is an effective way to introduce programming in the school and provide skills for future employment. It is an activity that is suitable for children with a range of abilities.
