The students in the AVID elective program are committed to changing their narrative. We want to help them see what that narrative can look like. Having this speaker, who will bring a dynamic and story of his own, will lead them through several experiences. These will be both self-reflective and goal-oriented. Through our AVID team and having this conference speaker, we want to inspire, generate excitement, and help motivate kids to achieve their fullest potential, to achieve the goals they never believed were possible and to show them that they can write their own story. They are not a character in someone else's script. The more experience our students have with others that overcame, the more confident they will be in taking on their own challenges while cutting their own path through life.
