During this year we have struggled to keep up with our students' needs for books. We are continuously repairing books and buying new books but myself alone I am not able to keep up with their voracious love for reading and desire to continue learning. By donating to our From Readers To Leaders project, you will not only help to improve and increase reading proficiency in our class, as well as students achievement, but you will ultimately help a low income school prove that WE are bigger and better than our circumstances and we WILL become the leaders that our community and country needs. Students will be able to simply focus on reading rather than "our books are breaking, I wonder if we can fix them or replace it" and know that there are people out there that care about them and want the best for them. I know that your donation will help those struggling students get past the hurdles they are facing right now by having new and innovative tools to awake their minds and jolt their learning.

About my class
