My English language learners can benefit from lessons taught using an Elmo document camera. Materials and resources can be displayed on the smart board using the document camera so teachers can model exact ways to complete tasks and skills which can avoid confusion. This is especially important when practicing for these state tests and students have to learn how to restate, look for text evidence, answer essay questions with details and annotating text. They can see first hand how it’s done and evade confusion. I hope you can see the importance in having this piece of technology in our classroom!
