While we are the largest golf program in our district, we are the only school that our kids do not have golf uniforms. They have worked hard at fundraising and want to come to the golf course looking like a team of professionals! Many of our players are introverts. The game of golf has helped many of them with their social anxieties and stress management. Please believe that putting a shirt on their back and a hat on their heads will go a long way to helping reach our goals! Beyond playing as a team, many of my student-athletes have come back to tell me that they have begun playing with their parents and grandparents, and I have two 9th graders last year that started playing in a youth golf league on their own. It has been great watching their growth and love for the game.
