I have several students that are served by special education and could benefit from sensory and fine motor toys but, our current supply of materials is limited. These requested materials will benefit my students by allowing them to practice fine motor skills and learn letters with engaging toys, have fun while learning shapes and sorting with bright colorful materials that make learning fun! My classroom also has students that would benefit from alternative seating during circle time and large group activities. These wobble cushion spots will help them fulfill their sensory needs while being part of our group circle time. I am a first year teacher and still trying to add to my classroom materials. Currently, our yearly budget is spend and we could still use many things to make our classroom more engaging. We would be most appreciative to get these items that will help prepare my students for kindergarten!
