All of the activities and manipulatives will make students enjoy work time. During math center or STEAM time, my students have been playing games make out of worksheets and paper. With the new activities like blocks, magnet tiles, and legos, they will be able to explore and engine new ideas using hands on materials. Hands on materials will allow students to use their imaginations in ways they never discovered. Unfortunately, some of my students have never played with magnet tiles before. Magnet tiles are super exciting ways to build houses, schools, and other things. Also, Legos are so common but extremely expensive. Leggo can not only be used for math centers and STEAM, but can also be used during recess. Especially with the cold winters, my students have been a little bored in the classroom. These manipulatives and activities will also brings some joy and laughter into the class. Since my students are only 5 or 6 years old, these fun activities are desired!
