I am in a unique position in that I teach freshmen English, yearbook, precalculus and statistics. I am requesting funds for an additional whiteboard so that I can have a bit more fluidity in my classes and not waste so much valuable time writing, erasing, and rewriting important information multiple times due to lack of whiteboard space. Having an extra whiteboard will allow each of my content areas to have their own areas and thus make learning more efficient and less confusing for students. Another whiteboard will allow me to revisit concepts from previous classes and reference back to prior lessons. Some information (especially for yearbook) needs to be posted all year long, which takes up valuable board space. Adding another content will make it even more difficult to manage board space, especially for math where we will spend time working through problems as a class or engaging in fun activities/competitions that require the whiteboard.
