I am working with my team to develop a vocational program for my students. This program will give them the opportunity to gain work experiences during their school day. This project will help my students gain real-world skills like social skills, money, sales, inventory, bookkeeping, and so much more. We are hoping to create a school store that will be ran and managed by the students within our life skills and autistic support programs with the support of their teachers. In the meantime, I am hoping to provide training experiences with real tools that they may use in their futures.
