I hope to achieve more academic growth in each student in my classroom. With an extra computer, students will have more time to spend on school approved websites. Third graders are expected to take a computerized state test at the end of the year. This test determines if they pass or fail the third grade. With limited computer access in the classroom and at home for many students, it’s difficult to allow them all to practice. An extra computer in the classroom will allow more practice for students that do not have access to a computer at home. With the right tools, students can do anything! Students will be able to take more practice test on the computer and be more familiar with the format of the test. They are required to use a computer mouse on the test, so this will allow them that practice also.
