I am asking for printer supplies so that I can support learning for my students. My in-room printer allows me to give students immediate access to grade printouts, supplemental worksheets, and readings. I can use the district resources for printing large jobs for entire classes, but often, I need to differentiate instruction and provide items for just a few students. With COVID-19, we are increasingly digital, but some students with special learning needs really need to use a pencil and a piece of paper to improve reading comprehension or focus on their work. Being able to print small jobs on demand will immensely help my students so that they do not have to wait several days for me to send it through the district copy center.
