All of my students want to read with confidence. However, some of my students don't have the ability or skills they need to read. I want to give my students every opportunity to learn, gain confidence, and grow academically. Even though my main intent is to boost my low readers, this project will be used by all students. Every student will be able to use the earphones and CD player to listen to read aloud on-line and CD versions. Audiobooks allow students to hear explicit sounds of letters and letter patterns that form words. Audiobooks also help students engage in text and gain exposure to more words, ultimately improving vocabulary, comprehension and critical thinking skills.
