Children learn best through play. Play allows students to experience their environment authentically; applying what they already know and encouraging them to question, inquire, and discover. Play is vital for physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. Purposeful play creates deep learning experiences that are vital in early childhood education. A light table and accessories will provide an engaging sensory and learning experience for my students. My students will be engaged in math, ela, and fine motor practice. They will also be involved in collaboration and problem solving, skills transferable to every subject. Engaging tools, such as a light table, lengthen the focus and attention spans of early learners. Help us light up our love of learning!
