My students read independently every day in both Spanish and English. They especially love to read at the carpet and on two bean bags chairs, I have in the classroom. However, we need more spaces and seating in our classroom so that all of the students can enjoy more comfortable seating. I want to add more spaces that allow for flexible seating during our independent reading time so that my students can continue to enjoy reading and see that it can be both comfortable and fun. With these materials, students will be more motivated to begin their reading and build greater stamina during reading time! This will help them become better readers and nurture their love for reading.
