I recently changed positions at my school. I am now teaching in a 3rd-5th grade low incidence classroom with limited materials. I would like to give my students more materials for centers in order for them to gain more independence. The materials I have chosen will allow my students more hands on activities during reading and math centers. The What Goes Together? Activity Box and the Category Sorting Activity Box will allow the students the opportunity to practice with problem solving. They will learn skills such as sorting and classifying skills as they match items that go together. The It's a Snap! Math Centers - Complete Set will be a wonderful addition to our math centers. This set will introduce counting, patterning and simple addition with this hands on boards and clips that build early math skills - in a snap! Finally the storage and label maker will allow the students easy access to the materials. They will be able to independently find the material that they need.
