Students in sixth grade, beginner band start by using the tuner to correct their pitch and provide a visual when learning to play. Having the individual tuner and clip on mic will improve efficiency and flow of the class, as well as provide the ear training necessary to perform in a full ensemble. They continue to use these tools in the seventh and eighth grade band to improve the overall sound of the band as well as individual sounds. Music stimulates the entire brain and is essential to a child’s development. Supporting their music education creates and molds well-rounded leaders of tomorrow.

About my class
