Breath For Change is a research based social and emotional professional development for educators. With this training I will earn my 200 hour yoga training as well as earn my Social/Emotional facilitator certification. I will be able to bring strategies to my high school students to build their emotional tool boxes with positive ways to turn stress and anxiety into positive teachable moments. Not only will my students benefit but my fellow educators as well. My plan is to provide professional development opportunities to my colleagues to build their social/emotional tool boxes as well. The strategies hopefully will eliminate some educator "burn-out". As well as provide useable plans for students and teachers.
