Students learn the best with hands-on activities, not only because they learn by doing, but also because they learn from their peers, which makes it more meaningful for them. Not only does it help them become more engaged, but it also helps them retain the information learned. Now that technology plays a great part in our lives, it is important to keep students engaged and ready to learn. My goal is for students to strengthen their problem solving and critical thinking skills. Students will use the magnetic write & wipe boards to increase their engagement in lessons; students are always more excited to do and show their work using the dry erase boards, it is also a great tool for a quick assessment and check for understanding. The letter stamps are also a fun way for them to practice their sight words when they are working in their literacy center stations. Students will be able to use the the materials provided to enjoy a well organized classroom, where they will easily have access to manipulatives and materials needed in order for them to succeed throughout the year
