I would like to have Building Brick challenge kits for my students. Gifted students require constant challenges to stay engaged in the learning process. The various engineering designs will challenge my students to find solutions to problems using blocks. The kits will provide a fun way to engage in mathematical practices. The more fun the activity is, the more the students will want to learn. The kits will be used as math and science center activities. The three kits will allow 2-3 students to work on a challenge together. This will keep them engaged in critical thinking and problem solving. Best of all, they will have fun while learning.
