These materials will help my students conceptualize our science standards of simple machines by allowing the students to use LEGOS to build working models. Instead of only reading about the content and using technology to produce virtual models, these LEGOS kits will allow the students to participate in STEM tasks. I plan to allow the students to use these materials to participate in several design challenges. The materials will allow the students to participate in design thinking tasks; making an initial product and then improving its functionality with repeated tests and trials. With these materials, the students will be able to apply the knowledge they are learning in the classroom.

About my class
