Please help me make my lessons a more engaging experience through the use of technology. Many of my students do not have computers or the internet at home. I want my classroom to become a place where they can learn just like students from affluent households. This school year is one of my toughest years. Their end of the year scores from last year were really low, which makes my job much harder. I would like to work in small groups, but most of my lessons tend to be whole group lessons. If I separated them into groups, I would not be able to monitor the work that they are doing in those groups. I do not want them to learn any concepts wrong. Tablets would help us tremendously. My students would be able to visit websites that will monitor their progress, and explain how to correct their answers.
