Several students in my classroom have difficulty focusing during testing specifically. Part of the function of my room is to provide a small group environment for the students who need extra support to eliminate distractions. The reduction of surrounding classmates does make a difference, however, some distractions remain that are difficult to reduce. For example, the noise that some students make when they have the need to move around in their flexible seating. Although this movement is beneficial to some of my students, it creates a barrier of distraction for others. I would like to create an environment with these headphones that can accommodate the needs of both of these learners.
