I can demonstrate focus and self-discipline.I can apply self-motivation and self-direction to learning. Students will participate in a self-expression unit that will include reading, writing, and visual arts. They will have an opportunity to use quality materials to create a visual display showing their unique qualities and gifts. Students will make masks and decorate them to show their individual style. They will paint a self portrait and write about themselves and their dreams for their future. These displays will include masks, paintings and writings about each student and their unique selves. They will display their work in various areas around our school and share with our school community. They will keep their project to enjoy for years to come.
