I would like to give my students a lap desk as a means to give them an alternative workspace. They wouldn't be restricted to a specific place such as a desk. The students would be able to sit in classroom lounge areas or on the floor if the student prefers. Students need to have the freedom to sit where they like within the classroom to help motivate and keep them focused on the assignment. Allowing flexible seating is helpful with the use of lap desks to be able to complete neat work either on paper or through their awesome Chromebooks.
