Students will be able to use books and games during class time's specially designed Daily 5 program in which students practice reading to self, reading to others, listening, writing, and word work. Many of my students beg me for extra reading materials to practice English! For this reason, students will also be able to take their choice of book home to read outside of school hours. This will be an invaluable way for them to practice English with high interest, lower level texts. Some higher level texts are mixed in because the levels of my students vary greatly.
